2. CrossFit Kappa

At CrossFit Kappa, expect a friendly gym, filled with passionate and knowledgeable coaches. If you enjoy group training, they have 3 CrossFit classes in the mornings. However, if you enjoy working out by yourself, they also offer open gym throughout the day. And, if you rather personal 1-on-1 training, they offer that as well. Founded in 1981, Kauai Athletic Club is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art equipment and the highest level of strength training. Some of the cardio machines include rowers, bikes, and treadmills. In addition, there are a ton of different group exercise classes they have to offer such as Core Training and Booty Burn. If you're traveling to Kauai a day pass is $20/day, a week pass is $60, and a 2-week pass is $80. However, if you're a local, a monthly membership start as low as $60. CrossFit Poipu Kauai is another affiliate of the Keala Foundation. This foundation is motivated to stop the battle between Hawaiian youth and the prevalence of substance abuse. An amazing aspect is that kids, Kindergarten through High School, are welcome to join their CrossFit classes, here, for free! Over the years, this foundation has provided over 2,764 classes and opportunities for 500+ kids to be involved in healthy communities. Kauai Muscle and Fitness LLC has been in business for over 10 years! Now in 2024, they are continuing to provide a welcoming space for the Kauai citizens to live a healthier life. I'd consider this to be a traditional bodybuilding gym, with tons of strength machines and free weights. The Owner, Jimmy Castillejos, is very passionate about providing a welcoming environment that is kept well-organized throughout the day. A great feature is their 24/7 access for members.
