SZA's fitness journey, workout routine, tips, and more!
Solána Imani Rowe, better known as SZA, has already proven to be an iconic singer and songwriter. At just 29, she was the first female artist to sign with Top Dawg Entertainment. In addition to this great milestone, she also earned the Soul Train Award for Best New Artist in 2017. Yet, her influence extends far beyond the music industry, as she now commands attention for her dedication to fitness and wellness. Now, in this blog, I want to share with you SZA's fitness journey, in hopes of inspiring and motivating others to embrace her healthy habits and find their inner strength.
SZA's fitness journey was not all rainbows and butterflies. She struggled a lot with body image insecurities. When it came to achieving her weight loss goal, she made sure to incorporate a mix of cardio exercises, as well as strength training. A big hack for her, during this journey, was participating in high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
SZA's diet plan consisted of lean proteins like chicken, and fish, and even included tofu. Other types of foods that she would incorporate are fruits, vegetables, and even essential vitamins, minerals, and fibers. And don't get it twisted, fats are good for you. Fats were included in her diet. She included sources like avocados, nuts, and even olive oil. These types of fats are essential in building lean mass, supporting brain function, and even promoting heart health.
Today, she can proudly stand by her hard work and commitment, as she lost over 50 pounds. SZA not only saw the visible changes in her body but also an increase in her energy levels. The most important feeling she gained from this journey was a ton of confidence and improved self-esteem.
Throughout SZA's transformation, she demonstrated the power of perseverance and self-acceptance. Through the power of social media, SZA was also able to inspire and motivate her thousands of followers.
SZA's fitness journey serves as a reminder to people that all you have to do is start. It doesn't matter your fitness level, and most importantly, the results don't just happen overnight.
